At Reconnection Counselling, our mission is to provide compassionate, client-centred relationship and individual therapy in Ballarat that honours the inherent uniqueness and diversity of every person. Our focus is not on delivering quick fixes or prescriptive solutions, but on creating a therapeutic space where each individual and relationship can explore, grow, and discover a way forward that feels authentic and sustainable. We walk alongside our clients as they deepen self-understanding, reconnect with themselves, and make meaning of the challenges they face. We bring professional knowledge and psychoeducation; our clients bring their lived experience, and together we cultivate a collaborative path toward growth and reconnection.
Our commitment to honouring individuality & diversity extends to all people and all relationship structures. We take great pride in offering inclusive, affirming counselling for LGBTQIA+ couples, non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, and diverse partnership models. We also value and understand neurodivergent individuals and neurodiverse relationships, where differences in communication, processing, and sensory experience are respected as natural variations of being — not problems to be corrected. Diversity in identity, relationship structure, and ways of experiencing the world is something we actively recognise, support, and celebrate.
At Reconnection Counselling, we believe therapy should be accessible. Meaningful support should not be limited by financial circumstances, and we are deeply committed to reducing barriers to care wherever possible.
We offer a range of fee options to support accessibility, including sliding scale appointments, concession and pension rates, and reduced fees for clients accessing therapy through a GP referral. Our intention is to create pathways into therapy that feel attainable and sustainable, so that financial constraints do not become the reason someone remains unsupported.
Access to therapy is not simply a financial issue; it is also about cultural safety, representation, and feeling truly seen. Our community focus reflects our belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to engage in therapy that respects both their identity and their circumstances
This is why we are particularly passionate about improving access to specialised, affirming therapy for minority communities. Many individuals and couples — including those in LGBTQIA+ relationships, non-monogamous partnerships, and neurodiverse dynamics — struggle to find practitioners who genuinely understand their lived realities, relationship structures, and challenges. Too often, clients from these communities face misunderstanding, subtle judgement, or the burden of having to educate their therapist.
We are committed to being part of the change, by offering inclusive, informed, and respectful therapeutic care.

Hi, I’m Felicity, I have been studying and working in the mental health industry for over 7 years. What I have learnt in this time is that I have a passion for connection, curiosity, and walking alongside people in their unique journeys. I live and work on Wadawurrung Country (Ballarat), where I’ve called home for the past eight years.
My academic background includes a Bachelor and Honours in Psychology, and the recent completion of my Master’s in Holistic Psychotherapy and Counselling. I am also a trained crisis support worker.
Professionally, I’ve spent two years in the Mental Health Department at Ballarat Hospital and have been working in a private psychology practice for the past year. I also value giving back — I’ve been a volunteer crisis supporter with Lifeline Australia since 2020 and began mentoring with the RAISE Foundation in 2025.
My approach weaves together Person-Centered therapy, Process-Oriented Psychology, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, offering a grounded, compassionate space for experiential and explorative work.
At the heart of my practice is a belief that healing doesn’t come from fixing — it comes from presence, connection, and being gently supported to find your own path.
